Our New Slitting Machine
Euro Extrusions has invested in a new slitting machine. When plastic is extruded the general minimum width is 400mm, however with the slitting machine a larger roll can be extruded and then cut into the required widths. A 500mm roll can be cut in two to give two 250mm rolls as an example. The advantages to the customer are as follows –
Narrow roll widths can be achieved
It saves the customer cutting time as we supply the required roll width
Produces very good flat edges
Ability to wind the roll very tightly
