The team at Euro Extrusions has worked throughout the pandemic as we have been supplying some key industries in the fight against Covid-19, including pharmaceutical, pest control, packaging and building products for the Nightingale Hospitals to name just a few. However our production rate has been down at 30% and it has been a very tough few months for both our team and all of our customers. This unprecedented time has really shown us how hard our staff work and care about the company, but also our customers, we have all mucked together to get through this.
Hopefully orders will continue to increase and soon be back to pre Covid times. We have put plans in place for heavy investment in our current machines and further infrastructure, which will hopefully allow us to carry on producing the same HIPs, ABS and PP sheets and rolls, but also improve our quality, increase our flexibility on lead times and give us more potential to grow.
We of course have put many safety measures in place to protect staff, customers, contractors and suppliers. This includes but not exclusively, extensive cleaning, zonal working, hand sanitiser dispensers, questionnaires daily, temperature checks, very limited contractors and visitors, to name but a few. We have taken these measures from very early in the pandemic, and have done all we can to do our best to fight this deadly virus.
